Trenchless Sewer Repair in Cincinnati, OH by Ken Neyer Plumbing, Inc.
When your sewer line suffers damage or begins to corrode, your property is at risk for a number of major issues that could affect your home or your health. Sewer lines become damaged for a number of reasons. Over time, sewer lines begin to corrode naturally. But your sewer line may also suffer damage if it becomes infiltrated by tree roots or if there is a disruption in the soil around the pipe that causes a rupture. It is unpleasant to think about, but raw sewage could potentially leak onto your property or it may back up through the drains.
Dealing with a breach in your sewer line is stressful enough without having to deal with the hassle of calling out a plumbing company to spend days excavating a large percentage of your property in order to make the repair. But when you call Ken Neyer Plumbing, Inc., this part of the process doesn’t have to be such a hassle. Trenchless technology makes any sewer line repair or replacement job go more smoothly. Your plumbers only have to dig up one or two holes on your property in order to insert machinery that solves the problem. Contact us today to learn more about the trenchless services we offer.
Ken Neyer Plumbing, Inc. provides trenchless sewer repair near Cincinnati, OH and the surrounding areas.
How Trenchless Sewer Line Repair Works
Although the process is sometimes referred to as "no–dig" pipe repair, this isn’t really the case. A plumber will have to dig one or two holes in your property—at a beginning and endpoint in the sewer line. First, your technician will clean out the sewer line so that a new pipe lining can move into place. Hydraulic machinery is able to pull a new deflated pipe lining through the older, damaged pipe. This is then inflated so that the epoxy coating the pipe liner adheres to the older pipe. The new lining of the pipe is durable and just as effective as any other sewer pipe.
Some methods of trenchless pipe repair and replacement use pipe bursting rather than pipe lining. This involves moving a blunt pipe bursting head through the older pipe in order to break it apart into tiny pieces so that a new flexible pipe can move into place.
