Trenchless Technology in Cincinnati, OH by Ken Neyer Plumbing, Inc.

In the past, there was really only one way of repairing or replacing the sewer line running underneath a property.  A technician would have to dig a large hole in your yard that spanned the entire length of the pipes, which meant a large cleanup job afterwards and the potential loss of some of your most valuable landscaping features.

Today, if you hire a technician who uses trenchless technology for sewer line repair or replacement, you won’t have to worry about this outcome. This technology decreases the mess and the amount of time a plumber spends in your yard, so the plumbing system can get back to normal faster. Contact the friendly people at Ken Neyer Plumbing, Inc. to learn more about the trenchless services we offer.

Trenchless Technology for Sewer Line Repair or Replacement

One of the best tools plumbers have available to repair or replace a sewer line is trenchless machinery. Trenchless technology involves the use of a hydraulic machine that can push or pull a new pipe through an existing pipe. It’s done laterally, only requiring digging one or sometimes two small holes to access the ends of the line.

Not every plumber has access to trenchless technology, but one thing is certain: this is one of the most efficient methods for working on a sewer line. Select a plumber who uses trenchless technology for your next sewer line service for expedience and cleanliness.

Trenchless Technology for New Pipes

Select technicians can use this technology to install a water line on a property. Let’s say you have a well on your property, and you plan on installing a new barn or another detached structure far from the home that could benefit from running water. Rather than digging a trench between the two buildings, a plumber can dig two holes and use directional drilling to bore a hole large enough to feed a new flexible water line through it. We also use both horizontal drilling and a mole to install pipelines of various sizes and materials below the ground surface.  We are one of the few plumbing companies in the area to offer this service, so call our team for more information!

Trenchless Sewer Pipe Lining

Even newer sewer lines can suffer from leaking due to damage: shifts in the ground, root infiltration, and pitting corrosion can all affect newer copper sewer pipelines. But you don’t have to make repairing a number of leaks into an epic digging project. Our experts are more than qualified to handle the equipment necessary for sewer pipe lining. A deflated pipe coated with adhesive epoxy enters the damaged piping. As it is inflated, the adhesive dries onto the inside of the old pipe to create a new pipe lining.

Trenchless Sewer Line Pipe Bursting near Cincinnati, OH

Sometimes a sewer line must receive a complete replacement. This is often true of older sewer lines from homes built pre–1970 and which are made of outdated material like cast iron, galvanized steel, or clay. Instead of calling a plumber to dig up the entire line to replace it, look to us to use pipe bursting technology: a blunt, pipe–bursting head breaks apart the old pipe, and a new flexible pipe is fed through in its place.
