Honest and Reasonable!
Jeremy - Cincinnati, OH
We had major plumbing/sewer issues that easily could have broke the bank. Thank God We found Ken Neyer plumbing! They're Honest people who aren't working on commission like the big name companies out there. Most companies will use your fear to convince you to spend thousands upon thousands. Ken Neyer's guys genuinely wanted to help us find an effective and much lower cost solution. I dont know what we would have done had I went with the Roto Rooter quote. It's rare to find a company that doesn't try to prey on home owners in these situations. If you have issues do yourself a favor and call Ken Neyer. You won't be sorry and neither will your bank account!

Water Heater Replacement
Erin - Cincinnati, OH
After Neyer helped me during a basement flooding situation, I had no question about who to call when my water heater went out. They came by, checked my water heater, brought a new one in, and replaced it in an afternoon for a reasonable price. The new one works like a dream, and I'm a happy customer!
Should have hired Neyer first!
Roxanne - Cincinnati, OH
We originally hired a larger plumbing company who came out to check on some backup we had in our basement when it rained and/or we had multiple activities going on at the same time (washer/dishwasher/showers). It was determined that we had a root problem invading our sewer line. They cleared out a few pieces while here and the problem seemed resolved until it happened a second time about two years later. Same scenario with a lot of rain. I called a different company to come out and asked them to bring a camera so we could see what we were dealing with in this area. They did so and found a significant amount of roots invading this pipeline - too much for them to clear with the equipment they had available. The remedy they offered was to dig a trench in front of our house, (disrupting the landscaping that could possibly involve our driveway) and replace the pipe that was 13 feet below the surface. The expense was going to be significant. We decided to get a second opinion - using the video the second plumber provided. We called Neyer as they offered some alternative less disruptive solutions that we wanted to explore. After reviewing the video, they sent two men out a few days later with sufficient equipment that completely eradicated all the roots - completely clearing the pipe! They showed me how the roots were gaining access and did another video to show the cleared space. (I guess the original video that we had from the other plumber was simply to show what they could not do?!?) We were charged about the same price by BOTH plumbers, however, Neyer was amazingly successful in removing the roots while the other company admitted defeat before ever making the effort! In order to avoid having to deal with this again, we plan to have Neyer install a fiberglass sleeve designed to eliminate the ability of the roots to regrow within the pipeline. The best part is that we'll not have total chaos in our front yard from digging up and destroying our landscape and driveway. The cherry on top is that the 38 year old gorgeous Japanese maple that is the "root" of this problem will also get to stay! The two guys that came to our house also took the time to cover our carpeting to the basement with plastic before bringing their machinery into the house. They were willing to answer my questions and show me what they were doing so I understood the problem. There wasn't a thing left in the pipe when they left the house. They were also willing to look at a leaky faucet we had in a bathroom that required a small part and will also be fixed when they come out next time to install the pipe sleeve. Do yourself a favor and just call Neyer first. The price is the same between the companies; but if you call Neyer first, you'll get the job done right the first time without having to pay for it twice!

Easy and Fast but not cheap!
Don - Cincinnati, OH
Their prices are based on the Job, not on time so you know what the cost is up front. Even though plumbers in the area are in very high demand, I think, $225 for a half hour of work and a few parts seems a bit extravagant. That said, his hour would have taken me 4 hours and 4 trips to a hardware store, so I would certainly use them again. Scheduling was very easy and accurate. They were on time (even early) and called ahead.
Will is great!!
